As a lifelong Garrett County resident, Kevin has been active in real estate for almost 40 years and has won numerous real estate awards during his career. He is a graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) and is an Associate Broker. He was an owner of Railey Realty from 1997 to January 1, 2025 and was the Principal Broker of Railey Realty from 2000-2015 at which time he decided to go back to what he enjoyed the most, listing and selling real estate.

Kevin graduated from West Liberty University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing where he excelled in Men's Basketball and was the team captain and leading scorer in his senior year (1980).
 Kevin has two children and four grandchildren (Keegan, Reagan, Ava, and Noah). Their son, Justin, is a graduate of West Virginia University and became an owner of Railey Realty on January 1,, 2025 and is a very successful sales associate. Kevin's daughter, Ashley Fadley,  is a graduate of Mount Saint Marys University. where she excelled in basketball. Ashley also lives in the Oakland area is employed at GCC Technologies in Oakland and is a licensed real estate agent with Railey Realty. Kevin's hobbies include golf, water sports, and skiing. Kevin lives on the golf course in Oakland.
